In order to comply with AB 1826 requirements, yard waste must be separated from the trash and taken to facility that composts the material.
If you answered that you place your organics in the trash, or do not know how your yard waste is disposed of, someone will be in contact with you soon to get more information or to provide you with options for meeting AB 1826 compliance.
The organics bin provided by Waste Management can be filled with organic waste, including yard/landscaping waste, food waste, and food-soiled paper. If you select yes, Waste Management will be notified to contact you to help set up service.
