The first pavement lift has been placed on the north side of Gum Avenue between East and Matmor and the west side of Matmor Road between Main and Gibson.
Traffic will be switched on Friday, June 23 and Monday, June 26 to the opposite sides so that reconstruction efforts can continue. Going forward, vehicles will drive on the north side of Gum and the west side of Matmor. This traffic switch is expected to remain in place through the end of July.
Final paving, raising utility covers to grade, striping, and signal turn-on will follow. This project is expected to be complete in Fall 2023.
