A baby has become the second victim to die following Saturday's multi-car crash in downtown Woodland. The 4-year-old girl died in the hospital from wounds suffered in the collision.
On Saturday afternoon, a Woodland Police Department officer spotted a vehicle downtown that was being driven erratically. The officer attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver would not comply. The stolen vehicle, driven by a 13-year-old boy, crashed into two other cars at the intersection of Court and College Streets. 11 people were injured in the crash. Four people were in one vehicle, six people were in a second car, and the suspect was in the third car. One person died on the scene, and nearly one dozen victims were treated for injuries.
The suspect is scheduled to make his first court appearance today in Yolo County Juvenile Court.
