Woodlanders will have many opportunities to celebrate the holidays and support our local businesses this winter:


December 2: Holiday Tree Lighting & First Friday

Head Downtown to shop small at our local businesses then stick around for the traditional Tree Lighting at Heritage Plaza! The tree will be lit at 7 PM. More info


December 4: Winter Food Truck Mania

Enjoy food from your favorite food trucks and bring canned or non-perishable food for a holiday food drive. More info


December 6, 7, & 8: Neighborhood Santa

Santa will visit neighborhoods on three separate evenings beginning at 6 PM. More info


Until December 11: Fill the Trunk

Join WJUSD and the Woodland Police Department on one of the four dates below and help "Fill The Trunk" with unwrapped toys and clothing for local children in need.

  • Saturday, November 26 10 AM - 1 PM Walmart on E. Main St.
  • Saturday, December 3 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM Target on Bronze Star Dr.
  • Saturday, December 10 1 - 3 PM Woodland Police Department on Lincoln Ave.
  • Sunday, December 11 11 AM - 2 PM Costco on Bronze Star Dr.


December 16: Holiday "Magic on Main"

Join the Woodland Chamber of Commerce from 5 - 8 PM on Main St. for an evening featuring decorated and illuminated floats and vehicles. 


December 17: Candy Land at the Woodland Public Library

See the Library's children's area transformed into a candy land from 9 AM to 2 PM! More info


When residents shop small in Downtown Woodland, they will enjoy holiday decorations and lights courtesy of local business the Twinkle Light Crew. Finally, the Historic Woodland Opera House presents "A Christmas Story" from November 18 - December 11. More info
