Road Improvements on E Main St. to Impact Traffic Through Early February

On December 28, 2021, the City began construction of a new concrete bus stop on eastbound E. Main Street between the 113 on- and off-ramps (from McDonalds to California Market) that will narrow the street to one lane. The City anticipates that the road will remain narrowed until early February due to rainy weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

As you may have noticed, the City's contractor has previously narrowed portions of eastbound Main Street for construction of the other two bus pads located near The Habit Burger and just east of Jack in the Box. This final concrete bus pad is in a high traffic area and we expect more significant congestion and commuter delays than previously experienced.

We thank you for your patience as the City works to improve East Main Street. Click here for additional information on this and other City projects.
