Boards, Commissions and Committee Vacancies

Make a difference in your community by getting involved.  The City of Woodland welcomes and seeks citizens who are interested and willing to volunteer their time and talent to serve on its many boards, commissions or advisory committees.

The City of Woodland values public involvement in the city’s decision-making process.  City boards and commissions are one vital component of effective citizen engagement, providing input on city issues and promoting representation of our diverse community.

This is the city’s annual recruitment period to establish an eligibility list, to fill current vacancies, and/or expiring terms across all boards, commissions and advisory bodies.  Appointments are for three or four year terms. Candidates are invited to apply for positions in each of the city’s eleven advisory bodies:

All positions are voluntary and appointed by the City Council.  The time commitment for each board or commission varies, with some meeting on a regular schedule, while others meet on an on-call basis.

APPOINTMENT:  June 15, 2021 Council Meeting
