With temperatures forecasted above 100 degrees for the next several days, the City of Woodland is offering a cooling center at the Woodland Community & Senior Center located at 2001 East Street. The center will be open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 14 and will remain open until weather conditions change.
Restrooms, water, and free WiFi will be available.
Those wishing to visit the cooling center must strictly abide by COVID-19 prevention guidelines including practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings. To reduce the spread of COVID-19, residents are encouraged to shelter at home if possible.
