Looking for some motivation and support to live healthy and fit? Do you need a push to try something out of your comfort zone? Or do you just like fitness challenges where you can win some great prizes? Join fellow Woodlanders during the month of April for “Commit2Fit” – (C2Fit). Anyone that lives, plays, or works in Woodland is welcome to participate.
C2Fit is a citywide fitness initiative aimed to increase physical activity and promote a healthy lifestyle. The City along with community partners have joined together to motivate our community and create awareness of how living a healthy lifestyle is easy and fun. Sponsors for this program include Yolo County, Dignity Health, Kaia FIT, YMCA, Cross Court Athletic Club, Oasis Club & Spa, Makoto Kai Healing Arts, Woodland Bike Garage, and Woodland Joint Unified School District.
Registration is easy at www.C2FWoodland.org. After registering you will receive a calendar of free exercise events and a fitness log. Simply record the amount of time you spend engaging in physical activity alone or by attending free exercise classes. You will turn in your fitness log at the Raffle Event on Thursday, April 30th , from 5:30-6:30p at the Woodland Community & Senior Center, 2001 East St. Raffle prizes include fitness trackers, outdoor equipment, gym memberships, and health & fitness related prizes.
