Woodland Community Services is holding a party exclusively for students promoting from sixth to seventh grade at the end of the school year. All sixth grade students are invited to the red carpet themed Sixth Grade Party on June 1 to celebrate those students finishing sixth grade. This semi-formal event will be held at the Community & Senior Center, at 2001 East Street, from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Students can walk the red carpet and stop for a “Hollywood-like” pose with friends or they can also show off their singing skills with karaoke and dancing to the latest hits. Plan for a fun evening, it will be a night to remember. Snacks will be provided. Free tickets for this event will be available from sixth grade teachers in Woodland the week prior to the event.
The Sixth Grade Grad Party is another event sponsored by Measure J and is presented by the Woodland Community Services Department. For additional information about the Sixth Grade Grad Party, contact the Woodland Community Services Department at 661-2000.
