One-Quarter Cent Supplemental Sales & Use Tax - Measure V

In 2010, Woodland voters approved a one-quarter cent supplemental sales and use tax for a four year period which expires in June 2014. The passage of Measure V allowed the City to keep the Woodland Public Library operational for our customers, continue providing for park maintenance, landscape maintenance and senior programs, and supported police and fire services in the community. The passage of this supplemental tax came at a time of economic downturn and a budget crisis for the City of Woodland and helped to prevent significant service level reductions across many programs.

With the expiration of Measure V approaching, the Woodland City Council voted to re-authorize the quarter-cent tax for general city services subject to approval of the voters at the June 3, 2014 municipal election.
