Application Process

Beginning in January every year, the City of Woodland solicits proposals for eligible Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) activities. Annual, the City's CDBG program receives approximately $400,000. The total of all public service grants cannot exceed 15% of the total grant. Administration (or related activities) cannot exceed 20% of the total grant. Thus, approximately 65% of the total grant can be expended on other activities, primarily what the City calls "public facilities and public improvement" projects.
