Chief's Advisory Board
The Chief’s Community Advisory Board (CAB) is established under the direction of the Chief of Police. The board is created to act as a resource for the Chief in the formation of strategies, development of community policing concepts and increasing public awareness. The board is intended to provide a forum for discussions concerning community concerns and the goal is to have a broad spectrum of viewpoints represented.

Community Policing
The City of Woodland Police Department has a strong commitment to community policing and procedural justice. The Department cares about the community members of Woodland for which it serves.

Community Safety Conversations
The Woodland Police Department invites the community to participate in a series of Community Safety Conversations. These conversations will involve an exchange of ideas to help the department better serve Woodland.

Youth Police Advisory Council (YPAC)
The Youth Police Advisory Council (YPAC) is designed to provide youth with an engaging environment to interact with local law enforcement. The primary function of the YAPC is to promote trust and understanding between the Law Enforcement and youth. Under the guidance of the Chief of Police, the YPAC explores community issues by gathering information, discussing solutions, and making a positive difference in the community of Woodland.
