Business License
The Community Development Department is responsible for the issuance and renewal of business license for the City of Woodland.
To apply for a new business license, download the application (PDF) mail in with payment or apply in-person at the Community Development Department, City Hall, 300 First Street between the hours of 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you have questions regarding obtaining a business license, please call our office at 530-661-5820.
Sellers Permits Reminder
From the California State Board of Equalization: Effective January 1, 2013, the State of California is mandating what the City of Woodland include specific ADA information on our Business License forms. The State is also requiring that Cities collect an additional $1 fee. Effective January 1, 2018 this fee was increased to $4.
