The Housing Element is a section of the General Plan that is required by State law. The Housing Element addresses a local government's existing and projected housing needs of all economic segments of the community. The element must 1) identify these housing needs; 2) state the community's goals and objectives with regard to housing production, rehabilitation, and conservation to meet those needs; and 3) define the polices and programs that the community will implement to achieve the stated goals and objectives.
The City of Woodland City Council adopted the Housing Element for 2021-2029 on September 7, 2021 and adopted the revised 6th Cycle Housing Element Version 2 on March 21, 2023. Please use the following link to access additional information regarding the Housing Element.
