Request a Visit

In an effort to improve the safety and emergency preparation of all who live, work, and visit Woodland, the Woodland Fire Department is committed to providing a variety of fire and life safety public education opportunities. Woodland Fire Department members often attend a variety of neighborhood and community events to continue educating our citizens. Recently, we have been excited to begin providing hands-only CPR training at these type of events, helping to make us all better prepared in an emergency.

Public Education Request

To request the Fire Department attend your event or to schedule your organization to visit one of our fire stations please fill out the public education request form and a member of our administrative staff will contact you.

First Graders

In additional to the neighborhood and community events we attend throughout the year, every October over one thousand first graders are trained by on-duty crews about when to call 911, how to stop-drop-and roll, and how they and their families can prepare for and escape their homes in the event of a fire. This event is scheduled in coordination with the Woodland Joint Unified School District.
