This division is charged with the maintenance, upgrade and implementation of systems on the City Wide Area Network (WAN). This task includes an intricate system of services, data communication lines and hardware for 12 City sites.
In addition, the City creates and maintains many data layers for use by the Geographical Information Systems (GIS), a system used by all departments, but in particular Public Safety and Public Works.
