Making learning about your local police department more convenient
Policing 101 are free classes designed to acquaint individuals who are not sworn police officers with the activities of the Police Department. Anyone in the community who is 15+ years old can attend (youth must attend with a guardian). Classes are FREE and NO registration is required - Just show up!
Classes are held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm. See the dates of the classes below. Classes are all held in the Woodland Police Department Community Room at 1000 Lincoln Avenue, Woodland, CA 95695.

TIME:
6:00 pm until 8:30 pm
ATTIRE:
Pants, closed toe shoes, and button up shirt / polo shirt / blouse. The room can be on the cooler side, so bringing a sweater is recommended.

Please note that classes subject to change or cancellation based on staffing and unforeseeable circumstances.
If the classes have positive attendance, we will likely continue the series monthly beyond April 2023. Make sure to check back here for more class dates and topics.
Some of the above classes will be available to view on the same date and time listed above via Zoom Webinar. All classes will be available in person, however, we will be utilizing Zoom for those who can not attend in person for some of our classes. Classes that will be broadcasted on Zoom Webinar have the registration link next to the class. Registration for each class offered via Zoom Webinar is required. While we hope you will join us in person, we understand that it is not always feasible for everyone. We hope this addition is helpful to many.
