Neighborhood Santa
You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I’m telling you why, Santa Claus is coming to town! This year, Santa is back to visit neighborhoods on three separate evenings beginning at 6:00 pm.
- Night #1 - Monday, December 4, 2023 - Red Sleigh Route
- Night #2 - Thursday, December 7, 2023 - Green Sleigh Route
- Night #3 - Thursday, December 8, 2023 - Blue Sleigh Route
On the map, Santa will start each evening at 6:00 pm at the location indicated by a star. He will then travel along the route as indicated by the arrows to his endpoint.
SANTA TRACKER - New this year, Santa's location will be updated on the map in real-time. There may be a short delay in Santa's transmitter, but it will give everyone an idea of where he is on the route. Santa's location will be indicated on the map by a flashing red light.
Santa lives at the North Pole, so he is used to cold and wet weather. He will do his best, but we don't want Santa to catch a cold before Christmas. Woodland PD will post any cancellation updates on our Facebook and Instagram pages, so make sure to like and follow us there!
Santa would like to visit all neighborhoods, he just can't fit everyone into his busy schedule but hopes to get to more neighborhoods next year. Santa will also not be able to visit with children one on one during his neighborhood tour. As Santa will be traveling in a very special sleigh, it will be important that residents remain on the sidewalk and not try to approach the vehicles.
Residents are asked to attend the closest sleigh route to their home neighborhood. Santa will pass by on his sleigh and wave at everyone in neighborhoods and parks. There will be holiday music playing and Christmas lights too! There will also be a “Santa Cam” for residents to watch on Facebook Live (https://www.facebook.com/WoodlandPD) from the comfort of their own homes.
Santa's Sleigh Routes:
**Please attend the closest sleigh route to your home neighborhood. Utilize open parks to view Santa pass by if your neighborhood is not included in the sleigh routes below.
Sleigh Route starting points are indicated by a star. All sleigh routes start at 6:00 pm.
