Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
on January 15

MLK Day of Service and Commemorative Program

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. believed in giving back to the community in which you live.  The City of Woodland invites all community members to roll up their sleeves on Saturday, January 15 for the MLK Day of Service.  Making the time to volunteer for a Day of Service is a great way to serve our community and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. MLK Day is intended to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and move us closer to Dr. King's vision of a "Beloved Community."

Service projects and sign-ups are listed below.

Following the service projects, all are invited to Heritage Plaza at 11:30 for a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Program celebrating Dr. King and his legacy.  Lunch to be provided to the first 100 in attendance.
