This event is free and no pre-registration is required.

Tour attendees will enjoy a wide range of landscapes from showcasing succulents to naturalized landscapes that transport tour attendees to the countryside. Each landscape demonstrates the wide range of creative possibilities available to Woodland residents contemplating a sustainable landscape transformation as well as examples of how to overcome common challenges like shade and planting in mature tree root zones.

Tour activities will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a registration event at the Woodland Community and Senior Center, 2001 East Street. The registration event will include displays, relevant literature, a presentation by a homeowner who converted his landscape, and an overview of the tour sites. The landscape tour guide book and maps will be available at the registration event.

The self-guided tour runs from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Homeowners, landscape designers, and/or Yolo County Master Gardener volunteers will be on site at the tour destinations to answer additional questions about the landscapes.
