Today’s libraries aren’t only a place of quiet study, but also creative and engaging community centers. Resources at the Woodland Public Library are available to anyone who has a library card. Our library offers access to a variety of print and digital resources, including e-books, booklists and recommendations, talking books, language studies, and job resources that can be accessed in person or online. Students can turn to the library for materials, programs, and knowledgeable library staff who support academic achievement. Free online tutoring, homework help, storytimes for all ages, after school tutoring, adult literacy, and more are available on an ongoing basis to any member of our community.
During the month of September, the library is debuting its new library card designs – 4 in all – for adults, teens, children, and in Spanish. Throughout the month, the library will waive the replacement fee of $1 so everyone can receive a new card. Starting in November, a physical card or ID will be required to check out materials. For more information on how to sign up for a library card, visit the Woodland Public Library in person or visit the library online at www.cityofwoodland.org/library or visit the library at 250 First Street, Woodland.
