Turf Replacement and Toilet Rebates Available to Woodland Residents

August 19, 2015

The California Department of Water Resources on August 12 initiated two statewide rebate programs that can help Woodland homeowners replace water-guzzling lawns and inefficient toilets. The state-administered programs provide up to $2 per square foot for lawn replacement for as much as $2,000 per household and a $100 consumer rebate to replace one toilet per household with a high-efficiency toilet. The rebates are offered for single-family homes. Go to for details and to apply.

Demand for these rebates is expected to exceed funding, so early application is recommended.
