After School Teen Pack at Douglass & Lee Middle Schools

August 14, 2015

School is back in session in Woodland and the Community Services Department is kicking off an afterschool program at Douglass and Lee Middle Schools. After a successful pilot program at Douglass, the program is returning and kicking off at Lee this school year.

The After School Teen Pack starts on August 19 and runs Monday-Thursdays on scheduled W.J.U.S.D. school days from immediately after school until 5:00 p.m. at Douglass and Lee middle schools. Students will be led in supervised activities after school such games, crafts, special activities, and events. This is a free drop-in program and pre-registration is not necessary.

Thanks to the voters of Woodland for passing Measure J which provides funding for the after school program at the middle schools. Principal Derek Cooper (Douglass Middle School) and Dr. Armando Olvera (Lee Middle School) are excited for this upcoming school year for this new and free program available onsite for their students.
