The City’s contractor, B&M Builders, is continuing to work along Main Street between Elm and Walnut Streets replacing the sidewalk, curb and gutter and reconstructing portions of the roadway. This project is anticipated to be complete mid-September 2015.
On Monday, July 20th, Main Street will be closed between Elm and Walnut Streets including the intersections. This closure is necessary to reconstruct the roadway to accommodate a mid-block crosswalk, stamped median, signal improvements and intersection improvements.
All businesses will be open and accessible. Drivers will be able to access the businesses between College and Elm and Cleveland and Walnut however through traffic will be detoured.
Main Street will reopen to all traffic by August 31, 2015.
