Crime Prevention Event!

The Woodland Police Department is hosting a crime prevention event Monday, July 6th, 6 pm in the Public Safety Training Room at 1000 Lincoln Avenue. Staff will be on hand to share about the following crime prevention tools:

  • Crime Prevention Specialist Mini Garcia will talk about Neighborhood Watch and the upcoming National Night Out on August 4th. Mini can help you establish a Neighborhood Watch on your block. She will also have sign up packets for National Night Out.
  • Social Media Coordinator Trista Kennedy will talk about and show residents how to sign up using their smartphones.
  • Anti-Theft Dots: Participants will receive ONE free DNA property label. Woodland residents are encouraged to bring one item they would like labeled with Anti-Theft Dots. Recommended items: iPad, bicycle, tablet, etc. Staff will demo how to install the Anti-Theft Dot app on your smartphone and register your property.
