There is an open house at Silvina’s Basket on Saturday August 27, 2011 from 10:00 am to Noon, or 12:30 to 2:00 pm. Your ideas and input are crucial to ensuring a successful design that meets the needs of our community. Please join us.
Note: The public may arrive to the open house any time between 10:00 a.m. and noon. All exhibits and staff will be available throughout this timeframe and a number of activities have been planned to allow the public to provide input at their own pace and convenience. A formal presentation and group discussion will begin at 12:30 pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
The Agency is developing a Master Plan to guide the future renovation of Freeman Park and accommodate a permanent location for the Woodland Farmer’s Market and other special events/attractions and make the park more usable to community members on a daily basis. The plan will identify and prioritize park improvement elements based on community input and will improve the City’s ability to receive grant funding to implement the improvement projects.
The public is encouraged to participate in the open house on August 27, 2011 and a second September meeting in the development of Freeman Park’s Master Plan.
