The City of Woodland is currently recruiting for Firefighter positions and has a strong interest in hiring Spanish/English bilingual candidates.
The Human Resources Department will ONLY be accepting application packets from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Woodland Community and Senior Center located at 2001 East Street, Woodland, CA 95776. Only the first 150 most qualified applications will be accepted. It is preferred that applicants hand-deliver their own documents and participate in a brief assessment. Applicants must also present a valid photo ID to verify identity at the time of application submission.
Applicants and/or vehicles may not be on site before 5:15 am on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 according to Sections 15-33 and 15-34 of the City's municipal code.
Submissions made prior to that date via e-mail, mail, online, in person or fax, WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED UPON APPLICATION:
The 150 most qualified applicants will be invited to a written exam tentatively scheduled for June 13, 2011. The top scoring candidates will then be invited to the first panel interview tentatively scheduled for June 15-17, 2011. Final interviews are tentatively scheduled for June 21-23, 2011.
