HUD Secretary Donovan Announces $216 Million in Homeless Grants: Woodland is Recipient of Funds

The City of Woodland, in partnership with the Yolo County Wayfarer Center, was awarded $46,240 for the benefit of Permanent Supportive Housing Program (SHP) funds. These funds were awarded through a “Bonus Round” to assist with homelessness throughout the country. The funds will be used over the next 2 years to subsidize rents and provide self-sufficiency programs for 2 qualified families/individuals in Woodland.

The Yolo County Wayfarer Center and City of Woodland submitted an application for Permanent Housing for Persons with Disabilities in the fall of 2010.
