December 1, 2010
Happy Holidays! The Woodland Public Library is once again offering a "Food for Fines" program from November 29th through December 29th, 2010. Library patrons are encouraged to bring non-perishable canned or boxed food in good condition to the circulation desk at the library during open hours. Each can of food will remove $1.00 from the patron's overdue fines. This year the food collected will be donated to the Food Bank of Yolo County. Please make sure the canned or boxed food items are within the expiration date, and do not donate items packaged in glass. This is a wonderful opportunity to clear overdue fines while helping to stock the Food Bank of Yolo County. Food for Fines only applies to overdue fines - it does not appy to any other fees or charges. For additional information, please call the library at 530.661.5980.
