City of Woodland and the Yolo Resource Conservation District (RCD) are hosting an informational workshop to assist residents in making "water-wise" choices around their homes, including how to save water in day-to-day tasks & through landscaping with native and drought-tolerant plantings. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 31st from 5 to 7:30 pm at the Woodland Senior and Community Center (2001 East Street). Speaker topics will include water conservation, water-wise landscaping, and irrigation. There will be exhibits from local plant nursery representatives and irrigation companies. Examples of native and drought-tolerant plant species will be on display and water-wise packets and conservation devices will be available from City of Woodland.
