City Accepting Applications for Boards and Commissions

February 26, 2018

The City of Woodland is inviting interested members of the community to participate in the process of City Government by serving on one of several Boards and Commissions. Serving your community is a rewarding experience and we are always seeking civic-minded individuals interested in serving.

All positions are voluntary and appointed by the City Council. The time commitment for each board or commission varies, with some meeting on a regular schedule, while others meet on an on-call basis. Once appointed, attendance at regularly scheduled meetings is critical.

The City Clerk’s Office accepts applications on a continuous basis. We currently have vacancies on the following Boards/Commissions:

Board of Building Appeals – On-call

Parks & Recreation Commission – meets 4th Monday of each month at 6:30PM

Personnel Board – meets On-call

Traffic Safety Commission – On-call

If you are interested in serving on a Board or Commission that does not currently have a vacancy, please submit your application. It will be kept on-file until an opening becomes available.

Applications and additional information are available on the City’s website at or at City Hall.  You can also contact Ana Gonzalez, City Clerk by e-mail at or by phone at (530) 661-5806.
