Sec. 24A-3-30. Citizen's advisory committee.

The city council may consider appointment of a citizens advisory committee (“CAC”) to assist in the preparation and/or review of any specific plan proposal. The question of whether to use a CAC shall be decided by the city council at the time that the resolution initiating the specific plan is adopted by the city council. In deciding whether to appoint a CAC, the city council shall consider the location of the project in relation to existing developed residential areas, and the anticipated impact of the project on existing areas.
