Sec. 24A-3-20. Initial environmental review.

The city shall review the initial specific plan application and may identify information and technical studies ultimately required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). To the extent possible, the city shall review and validate reports submitted during the initial review period describing base-line information and existing conditions, from which assumptions on preparation of the plan will be made. Validations of these reports shall not preclude the city from requiring additional information during the formal CEQA review process. (Ord. No. 1295, (part).)
