CHAPTER 23D. URBAN STORM WATER QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND DISCHARGE CONTROL
Article 9. Inspection and Monitoring.
Sec. 23D-9-30. City inspection of storm water conveyance system.
City staff will inspect and monitor the storm water conveyance system to
determine if illicit connections are present and if illegal discharges are
entering the storm water conveyance system. If illegal discharges are detected,
city staff will inspect the system to determine the source of the illegal
discharge. City staff will notify the public works director upon the detection
of illicit connections and illegal discharges so that the provisions of this
chapter can be implemented. Regular inspection of the storm water conveyance
system will also include biannual sampling of the storm water to monitor its
quality. The city will impose a fee (based upon a fee schedule) for inspections
of private storm water collection system discharges to the city system. (Ord.
