(a) All residential single-family, multifamily, condominium, apartment, mobile home, school and church domestic water services shall be unmetered, unless otherwise determined by the public works director.
(b) All commercial, industrial, hospital and convalescent home domestic water services shall be metered, unless otherwise determined by the public works director.
(c) Sizes and types of meters shall be determined by ranges of flow rates, plus allowable pressure losses, and possible safety requirements (such as fire service regulations).
(d) Water meters shall be selected, installed, tested and maintained by the city at the user's expense. (Ord. No. 1113, § 5 (part).)
