The burning of garbage, rubbish, refuse, or yard refuse is prohibited by state law and is unlawful. All garbage, rubbish, refuse, or yard refuse accumulated within the city shall be disposed of by removal to a site approved by the city sanitation officer. (Ord. No. 1038, § 3 (part).)
