Any person or persons, who shall violate any of the provisions of the two preceding sections shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding three hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not exceeding six months or by both such fine and imprisonment.
