(a) No person or persons shall at any time fire or discharge, or cause to be fired or discharged, any air gun, “BB” gun, pellet gun, cannon, any air- or gas-propelled rifle or pistol of any kind, or any sling shot, within the limits of the city.
(b) No person or persons shall at any time fire or discharge, or cause to be fired or discharged, any bow or other device capable of propelling an arrow, within the limits of the city, except as provided hereinafter:
(1) Where use of such a bow or other device is an approved part of a regularly scheduled program sponsored and supervised by the city parks and recreation department; or
(2) Where use of such a bow or other device is an approved part of a regularly scheduled program sponsored and supervised by the Woodland Unified School District. (Ord. No. 535, § 1; Ord. No. 1122, § 1; Ord. No. 1194, § 2(A).)
