The city may prescribe by resolution minimum standards and regulations for the construction and maintenance of all alarm systems installed within the city. All devices shall meet or exceed such standards and regulations before permits are issued pursuant to this article. The police chief may inspect any alarm systems installed within the city. (Ord.
