Article VI. Massage Establishments.
Sec. 13-6-9. Technician permit--Issuance.
(a) Within sixty days after the submission of a complete application for a
massage technician permit, the chief of police shall act to approve or deny the
permit. The chief of police may extend the sixty-day period if information
sufficient to make a determination has not yet been made available to
him/her.
(b) The chief of police shall issue a nontransferable massage
technician permit if the applicant has proven that all the requirements for a
massage technician permit described in this article have been met, unless the
chief of police finds that the applicant has been convicted of any offenses as
set forth in Section 13-6-6(b)(2). (Ord. No. 1269, § 3 (part).)
