(a) The chief of police shall cause such license plate to be firmly attached to the rear mudguard or frame of the bicycle for which issued in such a position as to be plainly visible from the rear.
(b) No person shall remove a license plate from a bicycle except in the event the bicycle is dismantled and no longer operated. (Ord. No. 633, § 1; Ord. No. 873, § 1.)
