For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:
Bicycle lane. That portion of a roadway set aside for the use of bicycles and so designated as provided in section 5.25.
Bicycle path. A pathway for bicycles and pedestrians paralleling a roadway. Persons riding bicycles upon such pathways shall be subject to the provisions of section 5.16. (Ord. No. 839, § 1.)
