Before entering upon the duties of office, the city clerk and city treasurer shall execute a bond conditioned upon faithful performance to the city and respectively payable in not less than the following amounts:
(1) The treasurer, $100,000;
(2) The clerk, $10,000. (Ord. No. 996, § 1.)
