At expiration of each of the terms of members of the commission on aging provided under Resolution No. 2550 dated May 6, 1974, each successive member thereafter shall be appointed by the council for a term of four years and, unless sooner terminated, shall serve until his successor is appointed and qualified. However, if a vacancy shall occur other than by expiration, it shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired portion of the term. (Ord. No. 1035, § 9 (part).)
