Article I. General Provisions.
Sec. 20-11-11. Indemnification agreement.
Prior to the issuance of a permit, the applicant shall execute an
agreement to reimburse the city for all the costs and expenses incurred by the
city as a result of the event, insofar as permitted by law. The parks,
recreation and community services director may also require the applicant to
post a cash bond in an amount to be determined by the parks, recreation and
community services director, sufficient to satisfy this reimbursement
obligation. The agreement shall provide that the applicant shall defend,
indemnify and hold harmless the city and its officers and employees from any
liability to any persons or property resulting from any damage or injury
occurring in connection with the permitted event, insofar as permitted by law.
