The controversy shall be heard by the planning commission within thirty-five days of receipt of the written request of one of the parties. At the time of the hearing both parties shall have an opportunity to present what each considers to be pertinent facts. The item shall be decided upon by the planning commission in a timely manner. Decisions of the planning commission may be appealed to the council pursuant to Section 25-27-50 of this code. (Ord. No. 1364, Exh. 1 (part).)
