CHAPTER 8A. CABLE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM.
Sec. 8A.330. Underground facilities.
In those areas of the city where the transmission or distribution
facilities of the respective public utilities providing telephone, communication
and electric services are underground or hereafter are placed underground,
grantee likewise shall construct, operate and maintain all of its transmission
and distribution facilities underground. The term “underground”
includes a partial underground system; provided, that upon obtaining the written
approval of the city manager, amplifiers in grantee's transmission and
distribution lines may be placed in appropriate housing upon the surface of the
ground.
For all new residential structures hereinafter erected the developer
of a subdivision or housing development will bear the cost of performing all
trenching and backfilling necessary for the provision of cable television
service, including easements, and furnishing of any imported backfill material
