The Woodland City Council adopted the 2020 Preliminary Climate Action Plan on July 15, 2014. The Climate Action Plan presents a program of strategies and actions developed through a community-based effort to guide the City, its residents, and local businesses in addressing Woodland's contributions to climate change. The plan promotes energy efficiency, intelligent land use and transportation planning, respect and care for our urban forest and open spaces, and wise stewardship of water, land, and air resources.
