This class focuses on pure Pilates technique emphasizing proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment, and complete concentration on smooth, flowing movement. Pilates exercises strengthen core abdominal muscles as well as train several muscle groups at once in non-impact, continuous movements. Further benefits are improved balance and more efficient patterns of motion - invaluable for injury recovery, sports performance, good posture and optimal health. This class is perfect for both the absolute beginner and very advanced Pilates student. Get the workout that best suits you now, and increase the intensity as your body conditioning improves. Please bring a padded exercise mat.  This is class is for ages 18/over. Classes are held at the Woodland Community & Sr. Center 2001 East St. Please register in advance. No Class 11/12/12, 1/21/13, and 2/18/13
