Get a jump on summer employment by getting the certification needed to be a certified lifeguard. Participants should be able to swim 300 yards continuously and retrieve a ten-pound brick from seven foot deep water. Participants should be prepared to be in the water, and bring warm clothes at each class meeting.
All classes are held at Charles Brooks Community Swim Center 155 N. West Street. All class dates must be attended for certification.
Pre-registration is required and no registration is accepted at the pool. Register online or at the Community Services office.
